Being involved in a church community has always been important to us—especially while raising our kids—since we were surrounded by like-minded Christian families who supported one another. We allowed our kids to make mistakes, encouraged them to learn from those experiences, and empowered them to self-advocate rather than relying on us to step in. While we always loved and adored our kids, we also genuinely like them—they were, and still are, a lot of fun AND funny!

Lastly, we prioritized our relationship while raising our children, knowing it would provide them with a sense of security, but also because we understood they would eventually grow up and leave the nest!
