Jon and Leah Enns were married on June 14, 2020, on the sunny island of Kauai in Hawaii. They still live on that beautiful island and love to lead worship together, eat homemade ice cream, and spend time with our son, Isaiah.

Don’t stop taking dates when kiddos come. If anything, take even more, and find time to be just the two of you. Sometimes that may mean a family date, and that’s okay too!

Continually check in with on how connected you feel to one another, but also how connected you feel to your child(ren). This helps to encourage one another in the good fight, both in marriage and child rearing because you each have different strengths that can help one another stay sane in the craziness of discipline little humans.

Never discount the beauty and joy that’ll come from a family snuggle sesh on the couch or big bed — kids and pets included!
