"I think the biggest thing we’ve learned in our first year of marriage is the importance of the balance between masculine and feminine energy.

I (Sydney) tend to be more masculine and Lucas tends to be more feminine. However, we’ve learned that this has been the cause of some disfunction because we’ve stepped into roles that have not felt fulfilling.

Lucas feels much more fulfilled when he’s in his masculine (independent, assertive, decisive, logical) and I feel much more at rest when I’m in my feminine (nurturing, supportive, intuitive, spontaneous). When we deviate from these, we tend to compete instead of compliment. Do some research on how the two balance each other out.
